NIKOLA, Iowa (AP) An Iowa pastor is planning to open a Bible gateway for visitors to Moab, an ancient, Christian site in the Mojave Desert that has become a tourist attraction.
The Bible Gateway is a gateway to the bible, according to a press release from Moab Church.
The church plans to open the gateway to visitors from November 5-18.
It is located in the Moab National Forest, west of the city of Moab and about 15 miles north of the Utah border.
The gateways are designed to be as small as five feet (1.3 meters) long and as wide as 30 feet (9.7 meters) in width.
They are intended to be used to get visitors inside the moab Bible Garden and to see the bible in a new way.
The Gateway is designed to allow visitors to enter the Bible Garden from a wide, elevated spot and see the Old Testament.
It is also meant to be an escape for Bible users who may not want to go through a gate.
Visitors can visit the Bible Gateway from the Bible Gate at the Mobab Bible Center.
Moab is a small city of just more than 6,000 people and about 30 miles north-south of Salt Lake City.
