Bible verses have been a staple of the popular desktop wallpaper app BibleReader for several years now, but they have been removed from the app due to concerns about religious content in them.
A new version of the BibleReader app will allow users to choose between a clean version of Bible verses, which will include images of the full text of the verse, or a Bible verse wallpaper with more of the same images.
While the Bible verses were a popular wallpaper for Bible readers, users in the past have complained about the lack of a religious icon on the background of the wallpaper, meaning that it looked more like a wallpaper than a Bible.
The app was previously available for iOS, Android and Kindle Fire.
The Bible verses will be available in two sizes: one for iPhone 4S, iPad 4 and iPad Mini, and one for iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 and iPad Air.
